StatDate

Privacy Policy

Effective June 27, 2026

This policy describes how StatDate LLC ("StatDate," "we," or "us") handles information during its beta program. StatDate is a dating service for licensed healthcare professionals. It is not a healthcare provider and should not be used to share patient information.

Information We Collect

Sources

We receive information from you, your use of StatDate, public professional registries such as the CMS NPI Registry, official licensing sources used during manual review, and service providers operating on our behalf.

How We Use Information

We use information to create accounts, verify eligibility, provide matching and messaging, prevent abuse, investigate reports, support users, secure the service, and improve the beta.

Sharing

We may disclose information to infrastructure, verification, email, analytics, moderation, and customer-support providers acting on our behalf; to professional registries when a check is requested; and when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect safety, rights, and the service. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

License Information

License numbers may be checked against public registries or approved verification services. The beta stores a one-way hash and limited identifying details where practical. Work badges and credential files submitted for manual review are stored separately from public profile photos and are restricted to the owner administrator.

Retention and Deletion

We generally keep account and profile information while an account is active. In-app account deletion removes the account, profile, sessions, matches, messages, swipes, verification records, and reports submitted by that account from the active database. Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, disputes, legal obligations, or enforcement. Backup copies may remain until overwritten under the backup schedule.

Security

We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not include protected patient information in your profile or messages.

Adults Only

StatDate is only for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts.

Your Privacy Choices

You may edit profile information, block or report users, and delete your account in the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information and to appeal a denied request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Submit requests to support@statdate.app.

United States Use

The beta is currently intended for users in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other places where approved service providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy as the beta develops. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
